Welcome to KvinnSamSem, where Linda Hinners, curator at Nationalmuseum, presents her project on sculptor Alice Nordin and emotions as artistic expression.

Emotion as a creative force – sculptor Alice Nordin

This research examines Alice Nordin’s life and artistry from perspectives of art history, cultural history, the history of ideas, and biographically. The primary source material consists mainly of Alice Nordin's extensive personal archive (part of KvinnSam's archival collection) and her preserved artworks.

About the seminar

If you are a researcher, student or member of the general public working on a project that includes material from KvinnSam's archive collections, you are welcome to present at KvinnSamSem.

The seminar lasts one hour and takes place at lunchtime. Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch. The project will be presented and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and give feedback in a relaxed atmosphere.
