Archival collections

The KvinnSam archive is unique as it is the only archive in Sweden dedicated to women’s and gender history. It holds 600 shelf metres of historical material, ranging from the women’s suffrage movement and early activism of the late 19th century, through the 20th century and second-wave feminism, up to the present day. You can browse our archives through the Alvin platform and request materials using our contact form. KvinnSam continuously receives new archive donations – read more under “Donate Material.”
