Director and Deputy Director
KvinnSam is led by director Linda Börjesson and deputy director AnnaLena Bergquist. The directors are responsible for the overall leadership, operations, and development of KvinnSam – both as a research infrastructure and as a part of the Gothenburg University Library.
Research Coordinator
The KvinnSam research coordinator Rachel Pierce serves as a bridge between the research community and the KvinnSam staff and collections. She supports the development and coordination of research projects connected to the KvinnSam collections.

Expertise and support from KvinnSam
We support researchers, students, and the general public interested in finding information and research on women’s history and gender research, as well as those who want to explore the KvinnSam library collections and unique archives.
We offer reference consultations, search support, and systematic literature searches. In addition, we support the development and coordination of research projects connected to the KvinnSam collections. We are experts on metadata related to archives and databases within the fields of gender research and women’s history.
We provide library instruction at all academic levels, for both students and researchers. We welcome group visits and offer guided tours of our library and archives.
