Women's history in Sweden
The previous women's history portals on KvinnSam's old website could not be moved to the new website, with the exception of the portal about digitised historical Swedish periodicals for women. This is because both rebuilding and updating the portals is too resource-intensive.
The book Kvinnohistoria i Sverige (Women's History in Sweden) contains the researchers' articles from the portals, in Swedish. The book describes the history of the Swedish women's movement in five themes - education, suffrage, labour, peace and the second-wave women's movement. The articles have been written by researchers Christina Florin, Josefin Rönnbäck, Ulla Wikander, Irene Andersson and Eva Schmitz. The book also contains a list of notable years and a bibliography. This can be read in the University of Gothenburg's platform for e-publishing GUPEA.
