KvinnSamSem 11 Nov: Åsa Beckman on the author Sonja Åkesson

Published

Welcome to the final KvinnSamSem of the autumn semester, where Åsa Beckman, assistant editor for culture at Dagens Nyheter, will present her project on the author and poet Sonja Åkesson.

Åsa Beckman has used Sonja Åkesson’s archive at KvinnSam for her project on Åkesson. Her talk "Cookie recipes, diaries, and poem drafts - a journey of discovery in Sonja Åkesson's archives" will cover the work with a biography of Åkesson and the picture that emerges from the papers she has left behind.

Following the seminar, SKOGH, Sweden's women's and gender historians, will host a mingle.

Everyone is welcome to attend the seminar, and no advance registration is required.
