Exhibition and events celebrating Sonja Åkesson's 100th birthday

Published

During March and April, KvinnSam, Lagerhuset Library, and Gothenburg Literature House will celebrate Sonja Åkesson's 100th birthday. There will be stage performances, workshops, exhibitions, and shared reading. You can already visit the exhibition “Neeeijjj Åkej” at KvinnSam.

The exhibition “Neeeijjj Åkej” is based on the Sonja Åkesson archive at KvinnSam and highlights the life and work of the writer, feminist, poet, and artist Sonja Åkesson. Take a look at letters, photographs, manuscripts, and magazine articles in the exhibition. The exhibition is a collaboration between KvinnSam and Lagerhuset Library, and will also be shown at Lagerhuset Library later this spring.
